Book Review: Great Cities

This Book is about world greatest cities.

It will tell you about the greatest attractions and landmark.

When you open one of the flaps, you see what is inside the building.

It also gives facts about each city and explains techniques of how it was built.

City of New York has a nickname - 'The City That Never Sleeps'. One of most visited landmark is The Empire State Building uses 60,000 tones of steel andwith a huge amount of10 million of bricks.

Another city mentioned in the book is London, where we live. It has it's own famous buildings and facts. For example, in the book it says "bustling capital city is packed with stunning sights, on both sides of the River Thames". The Shard is one of the newest landmarks in London. There're many museums packed around London. Many of them are free.

Venice is a city in Italy. This city is not highly polluted,

because people don't use cars or buses. They just use boats or walk. Building are made

in different styles. For the building foundations builders used timber to make it strong and solid, and then marble and brick on top.

The winged lion of St.Mark is a symbol of Venice. It appears on the statues.
