Jane Goodall

Jane Goodall was born in Britain in 1934. Her dream was to travel to Africa to study the wildlife there. After working very hard she managed to go to Kenya.

There she met Louis Leakey, a scientist who asked her to

work for him. Louis sent Jane to Tanzania to help him study the chimpanzees. She lived with the chimps so that she could study their behaviour. Through her work we now know that chimps are very similar to

humans.
