Escaping To Freedom!

The gorilla lay in his hammock looking up into the midnight blue sky lit with a luminous moon and bright stars, then he saw the zoo keeper walk sleepily into his bungalow after a long summers day of shows to entertain the many visitors. As soon as the door shut gently the gorilla leapt up, tonight was the night, the night to put his plan to the test...

The day before he had found a mysterious door behind some bushes at the back of the cage, he did not know what was exactly behind it, however he had an interesting theory that it was his way out of captivation, his way out of the zoo.

He had studied the zoo keepers timetable way into the night so when the visitors poured in eager to see the different species of animal he didn't get much attention, yawning in his hammock and falling into a gentle nap. Honestly, he was still tired and wanted to sneak out next week however he could not wait another week as today was Sleepy Summers night shift and his only chance for two weeks. Summer was going on holiday to Brazil, the home of the Amazon Rainforest, the beautiful rainforest where the gorilla and the rest of his family belong, together.

The gorilla leapt up from his hammock picking up the key to the door and clasping it tightly in his hand afraid of dropping the key. He tiptoed light on his feet towards the bush which slyly hid the gorillas way out. Lifting up the lock he placed the key inside the lock, being careful enough not to let in clank against the sides, turning and turning a light turned on where Summer was supposed to be sleeping. "Stop right there!"her voice bellowed on loudspeaker. The gorilla had been caught!
