Family's Of The Orchestra

The Family's:

String

Brass

Woodwind

Purcussion

In the String family there is in the size order the violin, viola, cello,

double bass then finally the harp. the harp is the biggest out of all of them. It's strange because the harp looks different to the others.

In the Brass family there is in size order the french horn, trumpet, trombone then finally the tuba. the tuba is the biggest out of all of them. the reason why the french horn needs to have all those twirly tubes is because if you unwound them they will be longer than a classroom.

In the Woodwind family there is in size order the flute, oboe,

clarinet then finally the bassoon. the bassoon is the biggest out of all of them. the oboe has some weed on the top of it which is the mouth piece which you have to wet before playing it, but the clarinet has a different mouth piece. It's made out of plastic and you don't need to wet it before you play it.

In the Purcussion family there is no size order but there's the snare

drum, timpani, xylophone and finally the piano. Some of you think, '' WHAT, the piano is in the Purcussion family!'' I know but it is true the piano is in the Purcussion family.
