Lighthouse Models

Today, my group and I were creating a lighthouse model. I was so excited about it. I probably never did this before in my life! We aim to make a bigger lighthouse at the end of the term.

So today, we just made a small lighthouse like this.

We used some toilet paper rolls and we cut a lot of stuff. For the light, we made an electronic circuit to produce light for our light bulb. We did the correct thing but unfortunately, the battery didn't work. So that is why the other lighthouses are different to us. Another reason why our lighthouse is different to the others because we have blue and white stripes and the others got red and white lighthouses. The reason we had to have stripes because then sailors can see. Normally it is white and red or blue.

I learned so much today and I can't wait for our next few lessons in DT.
