The Romans are known for their grand buildings and architectural innovation!
They used arches, columns, domes and vaults to build huge, beautiful structures... They even invented an early form of concrete. Due to the shape and strength in their buildings, some are still standing 2,000 years later and many Roman features are still used by architects and builders today!
Your job is to design and make a Roman style building using only the materials you have been given.
To be successful, you must:
- Work as a team
- Plan and design your structure first
- Make your structure 3D
- Join your pieces together
- Think about your shapes and layers
You may use the internet to search for Roman buildings. You may not eat any of your building equipment until your Emperor says so.
