I woke up at 6:30 am on Saturday! FANTASTIC! THE HALF TERM HAD COME! I got dressed and raced downstairs for breakfast. Chomping on Corn Flakes, I thought about Sussex! I love my gran and Grandpa! And one of my dad's six brothers and sisters, my uncle Bernard, lives with them, too! I pulled on some odd socks and shoved on dirty trousers! I knew today was the day for my best hoodie, grey with orange stars! I zipped up warm, and my mum helped me pack my case for the train! We shoved my teenage brother out of bed fed him some breakfast, and we all set of for the train station! (We walked, as the train station is round the corner!) We took the tube, got off, and got on the over ground train! Then we were GOING to get on to another train... BUT GUESS WHAT? IT WAS DELAYED FOR AN HOUR! Luckily a bus came up going straight to where we wanted to go, but we got really sick on it and it took SO long to get to our destination! FINALLY we got there and my Uncle was there to meet us! He took us back to the house where I met my Granny and Grandpa! Me and my brother played on the trampoline, climbed the tree house and did a ton of cool cool stuff in the GIGANTIC garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had bacon and cheese toasted sandwiches! Next day my dad and mum went and left us in Sussex. My Granny and Grandpa went too, so it was just my fun uncle Bernard, me and Clem my brother in the comfortable little house. We went to watch Alice through the looking glass, we went to Raysteed the animal rescue center, saw some wolves, and bunnies, and hamsters, and even really cute GUINEA PIGS! (Not forgetting the GIANT TORTOISES!) We hiked up a mountain with an amazing view of a beautiful lake! IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
