Tim Peake
Tim Peake was born on April 7th 1972 in Chinchester ,Sussex.
Peake graduated Portsmouth University (Only For Boys) and went on to be in the army for 17 years as a platoon commander and later a helicopter commander.

When he applied to be an astronaut he
he was selected from 8,000 people.
As part of his mission,he learnt to
speak Russian and spent 12 days
under the sea.
Tim Peake became the first British astronaut in space in over 20 years.
