The storm
Last summer my family and I went to the large shopping mall next to us. We walked there. As soon as we stepped foot in the mall, we felt droplets on our faces.
As we went deeper in to the mall, the rain started falling down heavier. We adventered in the mall but then a loud thunder struck the building. Everyone froze. Then the wind started blowing harder. So much that pieces of the wall came crumbling down.
Everyone was petrified, even my family. I tried running out of the building but I touched something at the door. It was a car stuck in the door. I cried while running back to my family. I hugged them tightly. While hugging them I heard lots of cars banging on the walls, water splashing across the building and dogs barking everywhere.
I sat down next to my family. Still crying because I thought I was going to die. I smelled smoke from the outside when something happened. A man pulled the car and came running. He said he was there to save us all. I was very happy. He took us in his boat and sped away.
I went outside the boat and checked the aftermath of the storm. Everything was destroyed, ripped and some things even flew away. But at least I was fine!
