The story so far...

Zeus was a new-born baby when he was eaten by his father, Cronos, because he was worried that any of his sons would overthrow him and become The Second Titan. But he failed. Zeus was the greater, and reached into Cronos' stomach and freed his brothers, Hades and Poseidon, along with his sisters.

Zeus has many children, and some are Aphrodite, Athene, Ares, Hercules. He also had many companions, such as Hephaestus, so on.

ZEUS' house is on the clouds on Mount Olympus. The only two Gods who don't join the parties are Hades (God of the Underworld) and Poseidon (Ruler of the sea). He had a special chamber for his son Hercules in the film Hercules!.

WHAT WERE HIS WEAPONS?

Well, Zeus is most famously known for his thunderbolts-forged by Hephaestus-, but he also has the rest of the Gods, and axes, swords, etc, etc...

Right now, the Gods are in retirement, and they just make everything happen. Meanwhile, although Zeus took them out, the Titans are biding their time, waiting, watching, listening...

How the Gods defeated the Titans according to the film Hercules!.

1. Zeus threw lightning at them.
2. Aphrodite made them mad with love.
3. Hades threw the dead at them.
4. Apollo made the sun blaze down on them, blinding them.
5. Poseidon lobbed the sea at them and, with everyone's help, trapped them in the bottom of an ever-lasting whirlpool, with lightning striking across the end.
