Anglo Saxon House's

This is my Anglo Saxon house that I drew.

It shows they need a lake near by so they can get their local water. The tree represents a forest so they can find wood and other things to make their houses. Another reason why they have a lake is so they can catch fish to eat. 

The stuff that they get from the forest they use for the houses like the wood they find for the walls of the house. They get the dead grass from the  forest which turns into straw and they use the straw for the roof.

They would get stones and sticks and rub them together to make fire, the fire is used to keep the house warm. The fire stays in the middle of the house. They would have a hole at the top of the house to let the smoke out.
