The Monster Inside

Felicity , who had a purple Pegasus , walked towards he 101 ft tall, single-eyed cyclops. Felicity charged towards he monster but he held her back. The rivalry between them only grew when suddenly , Odysseus leaped towards the eye of the beast. The cyclops , who was armed with a garnet spear, pushed him into a bamboo tree.

Atrix, the town story lady and brewer, watched worriedly as she saw Felicity hobbling across the grass and Odysseus ambling towards a water spring ; just as Odysseus reached out to the water spring, the cyclops pierced him with the garnet spear.

" You foul, loathsome, evil monster! ", sobbed Felicity , waving her hands. Felicity realised why she was risking her life: for her people! Memories came flooding back to her of the cries of her mother. Felicity's blood boiled she was overcome with anger and grief as she spun into a single flame . She turned into a phoenix! Her one and only spirit animal!

She recalled Atrix telling her why she was having dreams of the phoenix star sign . it all made sense; the cyclops could only be defeated by the bite of a phoenix. Felicity chased the cyclops to and fro the mountains when Felicity bit a deadly bite. The cyclops' eyes turned red as he crashed to the ground.

Unbelievably , the cyclops got back up again , this time twice as tall. Felicity transformed back into a human , unsheathed her bow & arrow , took an aim ... and ... fire!!! The fire-lit arrow hit the navel of the cyclops. He tried to move towards Felicity but when he looked down at his nails , he couldn't move an inch . Slowly, his nails solidified and started to crack. Limb by limb he turned to stone . Felicity was victorious.
