Where they orginate from:

The Mayans or you could say Maya, people made their home in an area known as Mesoameroca ( Mordern day Mexico and central america). Mayans culture was well estaiblished by 1000 BCE, and it lasted untill 1697 CE.

The Mayans architecture is basically there

Pyrmids they build as there temples.

Mayans Art:

They use a lot of materials such as stones, woods, ceramics, jade and bones to decorate their buildings.

Mayans maths:

The Mayans used number system with the base number of 20 ( they use a base - 10 number system). The number 5 is shown as a long bar and the number 1 is shown as a dot and lastly 0 is shown as a symbol that looks like a shell shape.

Mayans calendar:

Every 52 years the two calendars start on the same day. There were 5 extra " unlucky " days in the 19th month to get to the total of 365 days in a whole year.
