The Fire

One night a man was reading a book in his bed. The title of the book was Fire. The man had a nice big dog. In the room the man had a lamp and a curtain behind it.



That night the dog slept beside his bed and the man fell asleep, too. Then the book he was reading fell on the floor. The window was open and the wind made the curtain move. The curtain flew onto the lamp and suddenly the curtain caught fire. The man didn't notice but the dog smelled the smoke. The dog started barking and the man woke up.

The dog showed him the fire. That man panicked, he got the curtain and shook it all around. Finally, he calmed down and put out the fire.

The dog saved his life. The dog showed bravery so the man gave the dog a bone to make him happy.
