Darwin's adventure

Galapagos islands:

Here I am on the first at the Galapagos islands, what excitement. The HMS beagle gave us transport to the new world of wonder, here the sun sparkles like a gleaming gem. The islands are filled with wild-life and new discoveries just waiting to be explored. There are many herbs, plants and animals that have never been seen and I am just waiting to find out information about them all.

My first day here was extraordinary because I discovered a new species of seal, a sea lion. These spectacular creatures are also known as fur seals dew to there fur like skin and fin shaped tail. from what I can tell they are quite heavy creatures because they have boarded boats in the distance a those boats are now sunk.

As I have continued on my expedition I have seen some different species of bird.They are called finches. They have extremely long beaks and colourful feathers. I do hope that I will find many other interesting discoveries and will report them to you straight away. Good by for now.
