Seasons

The seasons are four:

Spring, Summer, Winter

and Autumn.

Spring

Spring comes after Winter.

It starts on the 21st of

March and ends on

the 20th of June.

Summer is the hottest

season. Many people

go for a swim. Summer starts on the 21st of June and ends on the 20th of September.

Autumn is when deciduous

trees lose their leaves.

Evergreen trees never lose

their leaves like those in the picture. Autumn starts on the 21st of September and ends on the 20th of December.

Winter is the coldest season. In some countries it snows.

It starts on the 21st of December (Christmas time!)and ends

at the 20th of March.
