Life Cycle of a Dragonfly
A dragonfly is born in an egg in the water. It grows up and becomes a nymph. The nymph molts, shedding its skin up to 14 times as it grows bigger and bigger. They live mostly as nymphs. The last time they shed their skin, they turn into dragonflies.
Dragonflies are insects that fly. They can fly up, down, forward, backward, left and right. They eat as they fly. Adult females drop their eggs in water. They can lay up to a thousand eggs in their adulthood which last about two months.
