Russia and Ukraine: When is the attack?

Russia and Ukraine claim they are going to war. This pops up everywhere on the news, questions like 'why is Russia invading Ukraine?' Officially, we don't really have an answer. The UK will not be affected by this. We might know a date close to when this is going to happen, but we do not have an official date for this. Russia is invading Ukraine because Ukraine is independent now, Russia wants Ukraine to be controlled by Russia once more. I see no reason why Russia wants to control Ukraine but i say it is straight up unfair. The attack may be sometime this year, and we are prepared for Russia and Ukraine news all around the world now. This war is not 100% happening, but most likely it will. It is not worth fighting for Russia just because Russia wants to control Ukraine. War is never the answer and only makes things, such as your life worse. The only things we know so far is Ukraine is prepared for war and so is Russia. This could happen anytime soon so get ready to see on the news 'Russia attacking Ukraine.' This is by reporter Jacob Simmons on the school news.
