St joan of arc or the maid of orleans is considered the heroine of France in the lancastrian phase. In 1430 she was captured by the burgundian faction who were allied with the English, she still wanted to go on because she new God was watching her good deed. In 1456 she was burned on the stake because she believed in God , Jesus and The Holy Spirit.

Then in the 16th century she became a symbol in the church. Because of what she did. Soon after in the 1803 she became the national symbol of France and everyone n France loved her. Finally in 1909 she was beatified and in 1920 she was canonized.
