Hello my name is George. I'm 11 years old and I like to do sailing and like to watch funny videos on the internet. Welcome to my blog. Today I will be talking about my half term.

On the first weekend me, my family and some of my friends went camping. I had a great time and I had a lot of fun with my friends. We were somewhere out of London where I live. It was lovely and sunny while we were there.

On the Monday it was my birthday! It was amazing because I was still camping and we left that day in the morning and was at home in the afternoon. We even went out for dinner at a delicious restaurant. It was Wagamama.

On the last weekend we went to Suffolk at our friends cottage. It is a very nice house with a humungous garden. The day we got there, before we got to the house, we went to a place called Snape Maltings, my dad kept the name a secret because Snape is a reference to Harry Potter. We had lunch there and it was really good except I felt poorly because of the long journey. The next day we drove to the beach which took about 20 minutes. It was boiling hot so we strolled along the beach and dipped our feet into the water to keep cool. Then we went to a pub to have some lunch. I had a scrumptious steak sandwich with onion marmalade (which was very sweet) and mustard mayonnaise. The next day we had to leave which was sad but we had a barbecue for tea at home
