Dresses and miniature
clothes like their parents.
Wool trousers and tops and the girls had dresses with aprons.
They had the head of a wild
boar with apple stuffed in its
mouth.
They had pottage which broth
with vegetables sometimes they had some meat, the meat had
to last the winter and sometimes
rotten and the would hide the
taste with spices.
The boys went to school
and the girls were home
schooled, they learnt
archery and Latin, the girls
learnt Latin and how to a wife
and how to prepare a feast
They went to work to give money
to their family, the didn’t have
an education
The rich families did not
work, the girls spent time sewing
and embroidery and the men did archery
They went to work when they were 7 the made and cheese and collecting grains for bread and didn’t have time to play.
They lived in big houses they
spent time in the nursery with
board games, rocking horses
and wooded dolls
They had houses made of wood and straw and slept on mattresses made of hay there were lots of fleas and they would bite the children, it was not very nice.
