Japanese schools vs English schools

Japanese children have to go to school from Monday to Saturday. However, Saturday is not a compulsory day. They learn Japanese, Mathematics, Science, crafts and Physical Education. They are starting to learn English. They start school at 8:30 and finish at 3:20. Children in Japanese schools are well taught. Japanese children have holidays for Christmas, The Emperor's Birthday, children's day, New Year's Day and many more. Children in Japanese schools do lots of types of sports such as Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockey and handball. Also, they do Judo to attract boys and girls. Did you know that Japanese children brush their teeth at school. They do traditional art called Manga. It is different because they go to school on Saturday and do different types of sports. They also learn how to write Haiku, which is a Japanese style of poems. It has 3 lines and in the 1st line it has 5 syllables then7 and then 5. They learn how to play guitars and keyboards.
