The stunning coastline of Cardigan Bay has the largest population of dolphins in Europe and, on National Dolphin Day, is the best place to spot one.
Where they can be spotted

Dolphins are carnivores and eat a variety of small fish, squid and shrimp. Some dolphins prefer to eat mackerel or herring while others favour squid.
Appearance
Dolphins have smooth, rubbery skin and are usually coloured in some mixture of black, white and grey. They have 2 flippers, fins on their sides, as well as a triangular on the back.

Dolphins are small members of the whale order. Dolphins are mammals and are noted for their intelligence and learning abilities.
