SCHOOL IN JAPAN

School divided into 3 stages in Japan. These stages are,

. Elementary School (for 6-12 years old)

. Middle School (for 13-15 years old)

. High School (for 16-18 years old)

1. All pupils are required to choose a club when they first join the school. The clubs are mostly sports club and include football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, tennis. The pupils go to the club after school everyday and weekend as well.

2. Kyushoku. School Lunch. In Japan, all children must eat school lunch. Packed lunches are not allowed. Snacks are not allowed. Students serve the lunch to their classmates.

3. Souji. Cleaning. The kids clean the school because there are no cleaners. Everyday for 10 minutes kids go to their allocated area and clean. The teachers also help with cleaning.

4. The school year begins in March in Japan but in England it begins in September.
