Ant

A small animal with a sting. Many ants live under the ground in big groups called colonies.

Bee

A small insect that lives in a place called a beehive. There are more than 20,000 species of insects in the suborder Apocrita, including the familiar honeybee and the bumblebee as well as thousands more wasplike and flylike bees.

Camel

A large, long-necked ungulate mammal of arid country, with long slender legs, broad cushioned feet, and either one or two humps on the back. Camels can survive for long periods without food or drink, chiefly by using up the fat reserves in their humps.

Buffalo

A large North American bison, that has a dense coat of dark brown fur with a shaggy mane on the head and lower neck, short hollow horns, and heavy forequarters with a large muscular hump over the shoulders. The bison was formerly abundant in North America.
