One lovely day Charlotte and I decided to go exploring. As we cycled down the road, wind blowing through our hair, we came across a place that we didn't recognise. On the other side of the road was a forest. I wasn't comfortable going in, seeing as the town around us looked deserted but Charlotte said it would be fun. As we stepped through the old rusty gates, dark clouds covered the sun and I felt a small breeze.

The gates began to squeak. We jumped. We began to search through the towering trees and dead leaves, hoping we would find something worthwhile. As we walked slowly through the woods there was a scream and I saw Charlotte being dragged into a bush. I ran as fast as I could towards the gates but they were shut. I was locked in! I had no choice but to go and find Charlotte. I heard a voice...

IT WAS HER...

" Mary come and play with me." I knew that voice.

"Charlotte Is... is that you?" I called, my voice trembling with fear. I heard a voice. This time I didn't recognise it,

"You can run but you can't hide..." said a creepy voice. I turned and ran as fast as my legs could carry me. I stopped and felt a cold hand on my shoulder...
