Yesterday we did an archaeological dig from the bronze age . Jane showed us many artefacts that we were curious about. We saw 2 boxes full of soil at the back of hall

First of all, Jane showed us a time line that some of my class represented. We went back in time4000 years to the bronze age the archeologists hadded to dig to look for ancient artefacts because no one written down things about there riches.

Afterwards we studied about the facinating artifacts from the bronze age. We saw a model of a round house we also learnt about how they made knives and in the bronze age they used mostly flint to make their weapons. Did you know the people in the bronze age used small pieces of flint as a scraper to scrape off the fat of the animal skin to use it as clothes or bed covers?

Soon, we started to dig with a tool called a scowel but we dug slowly and carefully. We dug carefully because we might hit the fragile artifacts

Finally me and my group found some precious artifacts witch I was surprised with and I did'nt expect finding so quick but it did'nt look how I expected because it was covered with soil.

overall we found the amazing artifacts and we want to find out more about the bronze age.
