Y3 ORACY TASK
This term, we have been learning a lot about diversity. We have celebrated people's differences and talents.
You are due to do an Oracy project and speak about a person with a special talent or ability who YOU are interested in. This could be a family member, a famous celebrity, an artist, a footballer...anyone you think has a talent.
Week beginning 6th November:
Start gathering your information to find about the person with a special talent. You will need to research this information. Think about what your audience would need to know. You may like to think about:
- Who are they?
- How old are they?
- When were they born?
- Family?
- Where are they from?
- What is their talent?
- How did they work on this talent?
- How have they been resilient?
- Did they find anything difficult when they were practising their talent?
- How did they practise their talent?
YOU NEED FACTS TO TELL US ALL ABOUT THEM!
Week beginning 13th November:
Decide HOW to present your learning. This could be using:
- a poster
- J25
- PowerPoint
- Pictures to support
IT IS UP TO YOU!
Week beginning 20th November:
PRACTISE YOUR PRESENTATION - IT IS NOT A READING PROJECT, SO YOU WILL NEED TO REHEARSE IT.
Week beginning 27th November:
TIME TO DELIVER YOUR PRESENTATION! This week you will stand up and tell our class about the person you are interested in and tell us about their talent.
