"Come on Naledi, wake up! We need to escape from this place before we get caught!" Urgently,

Tiro tried waking up Naledi as she was snoring like a pig, dribble running down her face. She

still didn't move. The young boy knew that the farmer was close to the shelter.

He couldn't wait any more, they had to flee like an animal running away from their predator.

Begrudgingly, Naledi finally woke up and did her morning stretches.

"Why did you have to wake me up like that?" Naledi said in exhaustion."Leave me alone,

I'm trying to sleep. Wake me up in a few hours," Naledi yawned.

"WAKE UP!!!" roared Tiro, stomping his feet. His lazy sister fell on her side with a fright.

She thought she was going to have a heart attack!

"I'M AWAKE! I'M AWAKE! please stop stomping!" Naledi exclaimed as she tried to

get rid of the voice of her annoying little brother.

As the sun was rising, they started to head out. They were trying to slip away, but, while

they were trying to leave, an elephantine, crimson lorry stopped right in front of them.

The butch lorry driver wondered, "What are you kids doing here? who sent you here?"

"Uhhh...sorry my good sir Rra, I am trying to get to Johannesburg with my sister

Naledi." Tiro tried to explain to the tall and muscular lorry driver, in fear.

"You guys are out of your minds," Rra replied in confusion. He didn't know what was

going on or if he should take them. He thought that they didn't feel well or maybe they

weren't thinking straight.

"Well I can't take you back home, it will be too late so I might as well take you to

Jo'burg since I need to deliver some oranges there." Rra continued.

Tiro and Naledi felt excited for their journey to Jo'burg as riding in a lorry was a new

experience for them. As the lorry drove to Joburg, Naledi took out her postcard from

her pocket and showed it to Rra.
