Should Jim escape from the workhouse?

I think Jim should escape because the staff in the workhouse are torturing the children by forcing them to do lots of hard jobs and tasks. Also, you are not aloud to talk during any meal times (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner). Another strict rule is, when you are upset, you are not aloud to cry using a single tear. The beds there, are practically not beds. They are wooden tubs all in rows. I can't imagine living there for the rest of my life. There are even some people who don't even remember if they were born in the workhouse or not. Even a boy in street child called Joseph thinks the workhouse is the world! This is why i think Jim should escape.
