A Dangerous Night Emily has a secret, but nobody knows what it is. Well, only her best friend Cherry. If you really want to know, you will have to wait till later on in the story.
One stormy night, Emily heard a great big BANG! So she crept out of bed to see what was going on. But the banging had stopped, so she went back to sleep. Five minutes later, Cherry woke her up to say that she had heard noises from the garden.
Meanwhile, out in the garden, all of the wolves were having a secret meeting in the old oak tree. They were planning to blow up the school!
Emily and Cherry went closer to the window to see what was going on. They saw a great grey shadow crouching down by the oak tree. They thought it was a wolf, but it was actually a werewolf! They saw that the full moon was out and they were really super-‐duper scared. As the wolf talked, he almost saw the two girls.
At that moment, Cherry spotted a short grey tail disappearing into the tree. The girls both realized that there must be a secret tunnel inside the tree, and the wolves were going to use it to get into the school! So they went outside to see if it was a real tunnel or a trap. Then they heard the wolves whispering from under the ground. They could hear the wolves talking about destroying the school!
Luckily, Emily reminded Cherry about her secret. They came up with a plan to stop the wolves and save the day. Her secret was that she could make everything minuscule! So she crept up into the tree and climbed into the tunnel. Ahead of her, she could hear all the wolves running away, towards the school!
Quick as a blink, Emily clicked her fingers and at the same time those six wolves, including the big werewolf, became no bigger than a mouse! Now the school was safe again, the danger had stopped and everything was fine. The two girls went back to bed, proud to have saved the school.
