The 'Greco-Persian' wars

The Greco Persian wars were a series of conflicts between the Achaemenid Empire and the Greek City-states that started in 499 BC and lasted until 449 BC. It started when Cyrus the great invaded Ionia, a Greek inhabited state. The Persians then put tyrants in charge, which was a bad idea. It then led Persia and Greek to a war.

The first Macedonian War

The first Macedonian War was a battle of Rome trying to take over Greece and Illyrian. They failed.
