Yr Atgyfodiad / The Resurrection

Cyfrannod ddosbarth 4 at brofiad y Pasg drwy greu ogof fel symbol o atgyfodiad Crist, a rhan olaf o daith Iesu ar y ddaear. Gorchuddiwyd pabell gyda deunydd lliw tywod a gosodwyd croes tu mewn i’r ogof. Ar y llawr gosodwyd defnydddu fel llwybr yn arwain at yr ogof. Ar hyd y llwybr, gosodwyd planhigion palmwydd a chymysgeddo flodau melyn a gwyn, fel arwydd oliwiau’r Pasg.

Fel roedd y plant yn dod i mewn i’r dosbarth clywid y gân ‘Nearer to my God to thee’ gan Vocal Point i greu naws tawel a llonydd. Cafodd y plant gyfle i edrych mewn i’r ogof. Trafodwyd y bywyd newydd a pham ein bod yn derbyn wyau Pasg ar yr adeg hwn. Gwrandawyd ar gerddoriaeth ‘Dewch Blant Bychain’ gan Côr Ceredigion a chafodd y plant wyau i liwio mewn ac i fynd adref gyda hwy.

Class 4 contributed to the Easter Experience by creating a cave as a symbol of the resurrection of Christ and the last part of Jesus’ journey on the earth. A tent was covered with sandy coloured material and a small wooden cross was set inside the darkened cave. Black cloth was set on the floor symbolic of the path leading to the cave. Along this path were palm plants and a mixture of yellow and white flowers, a symbol of Easter colours.

As the children came into the classroom ‘Nearer to my God to thee’ by Vocal Point was playing to set the contemplative mood. The children then took time to look in the cave and the resurrection was talked about and explored. The promise of new life was discussed and why we have Easter eggs at this time of year. The children listened to ‘Dewch Blant Bychain’ by Côr Ceredigion and were given eggs to colour in and take home.
