Charles Darwin

Charles Darwin was a

naturalist and geologist

who came up with one

theory of evolution.

Charles Darwin went on a

five year trip on a boat

called the HMS Beagle.

Some of the islands that he

visited are, Galapagos Islands

and the Cape Verde Islands.

Charles Darwin wrote a book as well! This was called On the Origins of Species

Charles Darwin also came up with something that made certain animals extinct. This was called 'Survival of the fittest'. This is where 2 animals want some food but only one of them can get it and eat it, so obviously the fastest animal or the most cunning animal will be able to eat it. Over time this animal may be to slow to catch any prey to eat so they would starve or die.
