-able and -ible words Homework (Week commencing 29 January 2018)

Well done for learning your -ckle words. Have a look at your list on J2E for the words that you still need to learn from this pattern. Some of them were a little tricky.

A suffix is a string of letters that go at the end of word. Here is the link to a song that describes some of the common suffixes.

If you want to know when to use -ible and -able I have tried to give some more information below. Most words that have a root word end in -able. For example: cure - curable, rely - reliable. There are some exceptions to the rule such as cable, table, vegetable.
