Hi! This is my first Microsociety blog and I am going to tell you

about what my class did for our week.

In class we talked about scarcity. Scarcity is when there is not enough resources for everyone. When counties have scarce resources they have to trade with other countries to get what they need and build up there economy.

We played the shape game in class and the aim of the game was to get the most points that the resources that the table had. After we played we talked about first and third world countries. First world places have lots of cool and more useful resources, while third world countries had not that much stuff and they couldn't use much of the resources they had so they have to trade with first world countries. The UK and USA are first world countries and some countries in Africa like Zambia and Uganda etc are third world countries.

We read the story of Justenuf and in class we decided how the captain should divide the resources .My idea was that they should start making their own farms and start buying and selling and try to fix the robot.

We each did a design for our society's flag. My design was based on the sun because our society's name is Brightland. This is my flag design. It is a bit messy on here.
