Children are doing fantastic with their reading. Please continue to read at home with your child and bring back their book every morning so a member of staff can continue with individual reading with them. Books will be changed on when needed basis.

This term we will be learning about The Great Fire of London and the Gunpowder Plot and how these are remembered. At the heart of this project children write factual and historical recounts and develop additional skills in the writing of diary entries and sequencing stories.

Please note the change of days for P.E. MONDAY and FRIDAY. Please place a T-shirt and pair of shorts in a named bag for P.E.
Monday is fruit money day! Please place £1.25/week in a NAMED envelope and hand into class. (please ask if you require an envelope)
Each Friday your child will receive homework. It will be related to what has been taught during the week in class. Please could you find time to sit with your child and complete the homework and return it on Monday.
Children will continue to receive tricky words on a Monday and tested on a Friday. Remember to practice all tricky words to date so that the children are becoming confident with using them in their writing.
