What makes a good school?

You might have overheard your teacher talking about school inspectors before. They’re the people who rate how well teachers and schools are doing, called Ofsted. Now Ofsted have said they’ll make the way they examine schools fairer. New plans show that future school inspections could concentrate less on exam results and more on good behaviour and the overall quality of the education.

The change of plans could see schools being awarded top ratings, even if pupils receive lower grades. It’s hoped that it will allow teachers to follow a broader curriculum and focus on pupil wellbeing. What do you think?

Also a good school makes good students, so pupils of any school always follow the rules that are set out in your school. The things that would happen to you could be that you might get really badly hurt by not following the rules of the school.

What are the qualities of a good school?

If we understand the attributes of effectiveness, we can observe which attributes exist at successful schools.
