Dear Tony,

I am writing to you on this lovely day to discuss the homework issue with you. I want you to understand that homework should not be allowed.

Firstly I think that if homework still happens it won't let children go outside as much. If they are doing homework and it is a lovely day they will be cooped up inside. Also fresh air is good for the brain and if children don't go outside they will become overweight if they don't exercise enough.

Secondly it won't let children be with their family. For example the other day when I was doing my homework my sister came up to me and asked me if I could play Connect Four with her. I had to say NO. Do you want your students to not spend time with their family?

Thirdly it is unfair for the people who do the homework on their own. Some kids might get their parents to do most of the work. If homework is banned then kids won't cheat when they're trying to learn. I thought homework should be done properly.

I really strongly believe that homework should be banned. It will make sure that kids don't cheat in learning. All students at school should learn properly but at home they can get distracted more easily wanting to play a game, watch TV or just fiddle with a nearby toy.

I bet you didn't have homework when you where a kid and look how far you got. You are a headteacher.

Yours sincerely

Cameron
