The Life of Pye

For this term, our new teacher is fabulous, football loving, world traveller Mr Pye. In this biography I will tell you all about Mr Pye from the day he was born, through the countries he has journeyed up to the moment he stumbled upon our classroom.

Early Life

Mr Pye was born in Southampton a number of years ago. When he was younger he went to a school called Hamble. He enjoyed Geography and Science in Primary School because he loved to learn all about nature and travel across the world. Although his dream job was to become an Astronaut to explore the different planets, he also wanted to be a builder to fix things.

Education

When he was still in Hamble (Primary and Secondary School), he passed 10 GCSE as well as English and Psychology A levels. At University Mr Pye studied Thai language and Tropical Geography because he loved to travel a lot. 1 year after University he started doing teaching courses so he would be successful at teaching.

Jobs

As many jobs as he has done, one job he had trained for a chef. Later on those months, Mr Pye worked in a Secondary School in Maidstone to teach other teenagers Geography and Math. After he went to Honduras to instruct people how to scuba dive because he loves swimming.

Travelling

3 years in Asia this adventurous tourist loved travelling to Thailand. Then he toured to Hong Kong and worked there also while he was there he learnt to dive. The last 8 years Mr Pye was in Central America.

Now

Our teacher spent half the year in Mexico cave diving in the Caterpillar (Underwater cave) and even exploring new caves. The other half he spent learning different problems and filling our brains with intelligence here in Ashford Flamingos Class.

I hope the coming weeks he will teach me some new interesting facts!
