The wormy squid is a worm that lives in the water is squirts itself with ink to confuse itself before attacking itself and eating parts of its own body. It is low down on the food chain and travels by itself it eat itself because they are blind can't hear can't fell which means it struggles to find it's prey. As any other animal the Wormy squid has a natural instinct to survive and it knows that to survive it has to eat so they make the difficult decision to eat itself, That kills it anyway.
