The Water Race
Water tumbles excitedly down across the vast green rocky hill,
Wetting it with every drop,
It flies past the rainbow, into a pool it tries to fill,
Rainbow as radiant as the sun, shining to the world like their king.

Water has a mission to get to the bottom,
To be sucked into the bright dazzling sunlit sea,
Happily the trees wave their welcome, persuading it to come,
But for some places the water is not there for them.

As you see the water slipping out of grasp,
this is sure to make you gasp,
Lands behind the waterfall full of bright colours,
Water singing joyfully making it's journey down the hill.

Getting down the hill it's only task, trying to make a splash!
Playing with it's friends in a bash,
Only to be swept away a grain of sand in a beach,
It flies away to see for everyone out of reach.
