I put my bag on and slowly walked out the front door, checkingI had everything I needed for that day. Saying bye to my mum and gently closingthe front door. Making sure I didn’t make a noise even though it was raining itfelt like a good day, felling happy for the day ahead, all I could hear wasbirds singing. I placed my bag on my coat hook, excited to spend another day atschool.

I chucked my bag on, not bothering to see if I hadeverything. I slammed the door behind me making the house vibrate so everyoneknows I’m upset. I tried to make as much noise as possible but I know theycouldn’t hear me. Paige came runningdown the stairs teasing me and we got into a screaming argument and mum camestomping down the stairs. Unbelievably, she grounded the pair of us and I was nowdreading school. I knew it wasn’t going to make this day better.
