A night in London

In a city bombed to bits,The sirens cry a warning, the Blitz,Like a desolate city London stands,Destruction at the bombers hands.

A blood red sky filled with smoke,The moon hides behind a silver cloak,Like a vision from hell,a city reduced to rubble,

A bomber plane roars,Splutters smoke then falls,Like a rusty bird it swoops,The bombs drop,whistling a warning.

The panicked people shout,Quietly they all pant,Like animals they run about,Surely London will not fall tonight!

The sirens cry a warning, the Blitz,

Splutters smoke then falls,

Like a rusty bird it swoops,

The panicked people shout,

Quietly they all pant,

Like animals they run about,
