Challenge 10.11.22

Thank you to all of you who donated some boxes, we still need so many more to craft so could I please appeal to you all to send in your empty containers so we can create some masterpieces! I do hope all of you who went to the disco had a good time too.

The children have really loved using their senses this week to identify some herbs and spices and a variety of natural things. We have also been learning all about Remembrance Day and making tissue poppies with pipe cleaners and shapes.

This week, in phonics, the children have learned the sounds ff, ll, and ss and next week we will be revising all of level 2.

In math's, we will be looking at 2D shapes and describing them using mathematical vocabulary and will be sorting them in a variety of ways. We will also start to rehearse for our Nativity. I do hope all of you have now received your letters concerning your child's part they are playing in the production.

It is also Children in Need next week and do not forget that it will be Odd Socks day on Monday!

The challenge this week is to continue to learn the songs and if your child has a dance or lines to learn, could you please practice these with them this weekend?
