Until they were staying in Zermatt's hotel (which was owned by Alice Miranda's uncle-Florian) Alice Miranda heard her uncle plotting to get rid of his hotel. When Alice Miranda informed her parents, they did not believe her at first until something extraordinary happened. When they were going back to St.Moritz, Opa was missing. On their way back to St.Moritz, on the train (Glacier express)they noticed that something was wrong. The people who took care of the train - Andreas, Anton and Vincenzo told them that they were going to stop at Disentis { the place of the chocolate factory.} From four carriages they dismantled two of them (one of which had Opa on it). Until they were at Disentis, Alice Miranda and her friends followed the three men of the train and saw them entering a hotel and trying to steal gold from the vaults. The children locked up the smugglers in the vaults with the help of Sancia (an Italian investigator). The story ended with the smugglers being caught by the policeman and Delphine was plotting the robbery with them. From a skiing holiday the children ended up doing something good and they were really happy!

I would like to recommend my book to my friends because it takes place in a skiing resort and because it is a really adventurous story!
