Tudor water supply

Keeping clean was not easy in Tudor times. The water for washing and drinking was feched from public wells or water fountins.

In Tudor times most people did not have electronic showers or not showers at all. Also people did not have water taps or at least a hose.

The most grose thing that happend back then is that people drank beer and red smelly wine so that they would'nt get ill. the wine would in fact smell the cabins that served it...

At London bridge there was a huge water pump that pumped all the water in the tiny wells and it is thought today it is still pumping...

Do you know what this is?
