Chinese New Year!!!

So, every year means a new animal.

During the year's "eve" families light a fire, decorate their homes and maybe see a firework display.

The Chinese New Year is in link with the lunar calendar (or more commonly known as the phases of the moon!) Last year it was on the 19th of Feb, this year it was the 8th Feb!

It is made up of a cycle of 12 years known as the Chinese Zodiac. Each year is named after a different animal with different characteristics
