YEAR 6 TRIP TO CHISLEHURST CAVES

On Thursday 14th November year 6 visited Chislehurst

Caves. As we entered, a creepy

leprechaun was standing next to us and made us all jump! Just in front was an old office where people would sign in and pay 1 penny to sleep in the caves for 1 night so that they were safe from falling bombs during the night.

We went through the cave to a huge map on the wall were it showed us the whole caves.Later, we got an experience of what it was like when the bombs were falling......it was pitch black and extremely loud!

Near the end of the tour there was another monster and it was in the unused post office that had been there since WW2.

Chislehurst caves was a great trip and the whole year group thoroughly enjoyed every second of it!
