What does a plant need to grow?

A plant needs:

1. soil with nutrients
2. sunlight
3. temperature - not too hot and not too cold
4. time to grow
5. water

• there are lots of different seeds - like - rice, peas,nuts , grapes , flower seeds,coffee beans

• The seed has a seed coat sounding it
• The seed has invisible backpack of energy inside of it to help it grow
• The seed knows which way is up and down
• the roots come out the bottom
• the stem comes out the top. This is called sprouting
